About the Opportunity
As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting Australians by providing exceptional service to millions of people.
Every year, around one million customers visit our retail locations. Our teams ensure that every customer experience is positive and memorable.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering outstanding customer sales and service interactions
* Managing high-value transactions with accuracy, handling cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS
* Conducting identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
* Promoting products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities
* Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associated costs
* Building strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs
* Supporting administrative duties, such as stocktaking and record maintenance
Requirements for Success:
You are friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a passion for working in a team environment.
Be prepared to put the customer at the forefront of everything you do, making a positive impact in the community.
Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
Be physically fit to handle mail weighing up to 16kgs regularly and stand for your shift.
