Our Employment, Industrial Relations and Safety practice group in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join the team on a 12-month maximum term contract.
As the trusted right hand to Partner Aaron Anderson and a team of senior lawyers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional client service. This is your opportunity to make a real impact in a team that values precision, initiative, and professionalism.
What your day could look like:
* Navigating complex billing processes and managing client-specific admin with finesse
* Owning file management from opening to closing matters
* Coordinating internal and external appointments for busy Partners
* Supporting business development efforts and preparing for key events
* Mentoring and coaching Administrative Assistants to help them grow
* Juggling a wide range of responsibilities with confidence and care
What we're looking for:
A Legal Assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings a solutions-focused mindset, and is passionate about delivering top-tier support.
You will have:
* 2+ years' experience as a Legal Assistant directly supporting at Partner level
* Previous billing experience is essential (Aderant Expert experience is desirable)
* Strong time management skills and attention to detail
* Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an ability to anticipate Partner needs
