Opportunity for a Systems Administrator with networking capabilities to join a growing IT team. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to maintaining a reliable, secure, and high-performing technology environment across the organisation. You'll provide escalation support to the Desktop Support team, manage core infrastructure, and assist with the delivery of ongoing network and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting across desktops, networks, hardware, and software systems.
* Act as an escalation point for the Desktop Support/Helpdesk team.
* Diagnose and resolve issues by running tests, isolating faults, and implementing long-term solutions.
* Configure and maintain network switches, VLANs, wireless access points (WAPs), and related network infrastructure.
* Plan and execute system and network upgrades or rollouts.
* Support server infrastructure as a secondary responsibility, ensuring continuity across critical systems.
* Manage incidents and service requests using the organisation's ticketing platform.
About You — Skills & Experience
* Experience in a Systems Administrator or similar infrastructure role.
* Background in network administration (WAN, VLANs, WAPs, patching, switches, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Solid understanding of server technologies including Hyper‑V, clustering, storage and virtualisation.
* Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
* Experienced with hybrid Active Directory environments, Group Policies, and Microsoft 365 administration.
* Familiarity with Azure and hybrid cloud platforms.
* Comfortable working within ITIL‑aligned processes.
* Hands‑on experience with SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Current driver's licence and personal vehicle, with the ability to travel between local sites when needed.
