Based at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the AO8 Digital Program Manager is a permanent position offering flexible full-time hours.
In this role, you'll lead the design, implementation, and management of the department's Project Management Office (PMO), embedding best-practice portfolio, program, and project management frameworks.
You'll oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, legislative compliance, and governance standards.
Your responsibilities will include driving digital transformation, including the rationalisation, remediation, re-platforming, and decommissioning of legacy systems.
You'll ensure technology investments are secure, cost-effective, and aligned with the department's Digital Strategy and system roadmaps to enable data-driven decision making, improved service delivery, and operational efficiency.
Day-to-day, you'll provide strategic oversight of the department's project portfolio, manage risks and interdependencies, and deliver scalable solutions that meet complex system needs.
You'll also lead stakeholder engagement and co-design processes, foster organisational readiness for change, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
