Recruitment & Safety Support Officer – Seek Ad
About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and organisation Recruitment & Safety Support Officer to join our People & Culture team. This is a dynamic dual-focused role supporting both end-to-end recruitment activities and Work Health & Safety (WHS) administration across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment support
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job ads, screening, and interview scheduling.
* Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
* Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment reporting.
* Support onboarding and induction processes.
WHS support
* Assist in maintaining WHS systems, policies and procedures.
* Coordinate safety training, inductions and compliance activities.
* Support incident reporting, investigation and documentation.
* Maintain safety registers, records, and audits.
* Assis with risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Criteria
* Certificate IV in Human Resources Management or working towards.
* Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation including, equal employment, employee relations and health and safety.
* Highly organised with strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Experiencing using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Employment Hero preferable.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check (NPC) clearances.
Desirable Criteria
* Certificate IV in WHS, or willingness to obtain.
* Return to Work Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
