About the role
Join Qualita Care & Support as a Disability Support Worker at Rockingham. In this casual role, you'll provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and participate fully in their community.
We're seeking compassionate & proactive female Disability Support Workers with strong experience as a support worker in the NDIS space to join our growing team. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is necessary, including weekday mornings, afternoons, and overnight shifts. Availability for weekend work and a rotating roster is necessary.
What you'll be doing
* Provide support for autistic individuals with complex mental health and challenging behaviours.
* Provide personalised, high-quality support in daily living, personal care, community access.
* Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and enhance their independence.
* Build meaningful relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy.

What you'll need
* Strong experience providing support to individuals with complex disabilities, preferably in a community-based or in-home setting (highly regarded)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Medication Certificate
* National Police Clearance
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
* Certificate 3 in Disability or Mental Health Support Work (is desirable)
