The Role
As Head of Learning Area - Mathematics, (HOLA) your primary role will be to lead staff in the effective implementation of the Mathematics Western Australian Curriculum and the implementation of Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) courses, across the learning area.
You will ideally facilitate high quality teaching and learning outcomes through leading; engaging and contemporary Mathematics programs and assessments, innovative curriculum delivery, the consistent implementation of the CLC Teaching, Learning and Assessment Framework and meaningful performance development with your staff.
You will ideally model and promote a culture of ongoing learning, self-reflection and personal growth.
You will ideally liaise with students, parents, the Principal and broader College Executive, other Heads of Learning Area and relevant specialist staff to ensure the priority areas of the College are being addressed, to ensure success for all students – an essential foundation of the College ethos.
