About the role
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Harvesting of Walnut crops
* Operating machinery that you are trained and/or licenced to operate such as spray, pruning, harvesting, tractors and plant equipment including preparing and positioning plant for operation
* Assisting with irrigation when required
* Performing tree maintenance duties and ground maintenance work
* Maintaining records
* Maintaining plant, tools and equipment on farm including minor repairs
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant role
* Certificate II in Agriculture or relevant qualification
* Be flexible to work weekends and shift work when required
* Willingness to learn and engage in all aspects of the walnut farming operation
* A valid driver's licence
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to work in a team
* Ability to work independently and without supervision
* Commitment to safety
* A chem cert or willingness to obtain one
* A positive "can do, will do" attitude

* Competitive pay - $69,000 to 74,000 per year

What You Should Know About Our Operations
Our business is widespread, growing walnuts and almonds in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados, and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland. In addition to fruit and nut growing, we also operate apiaries located in Temora, Nowra and Dubbo.
Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
