The role provides strategic oversight of the Water Measurement Program, ensuring monitoring activities support the department's highest‐priority water science, planning, statutory, and regional requirements.
The Senior Manager ensures the Water Measurement Plan is continually reviewed, refined, and aligned to evolving state needs, and that the state's water monitoring network operates safely, efficiently, and to best‐practice standards. Through strong collaboration, adaptive planning, and effective resource management, the role delivers accurate and defensible data that underpins evidence‐based decision‐making across the department.
