Ouson Group is a Melbourne-based property development and construction group. We are building a scalable delivery engine for residential/prefabricated housing and commercial spaces, with projects moving into active construction and installation phases.

The Role
We need a practical, battle-tested Project Manager with real site delivery experience.
You will lead the execution of construction and residential/prefab/commercial installation projects—planning, subcontractor coordination, site readiness, scheduling, quality, safety, and handover.
This role is designed to become a cornerstone of our future construction delivery capability.
Key Responsibilities
Residential/Commercial Delivery Management
* Own construction delivery schedule, site readiness, and daily execution
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics
* Identify risks early; maintain a clear risk register and mitigation plan
Prefab / Modular Interface
* Coordinate delivery windows, craning/lifting sequences, access plans
* Work with operations to align factory/shipping timelines with site program
* Manage installation-day control: safety, quality, sequencing, documentation
Quality & Compliance
* Ensure work meets NCC and project specifications
* Drive defect prevention and rapid rectification
* Support inspections, certificates, and handover readiness
Stakeholder Management
* Professional communication with clients (as required), certifiers, neighbours, councils
* Escalate issues with solutions, not complaints
You will succeed if you are:
* Calm under pressure and decisive on site
* Highly organised, strict on timelines and standards
* Comfortable managing tough subcontractors
* Practical and hands-on—no ego, no drama
* Able to plan clearly and execute with discipline
* Comfortable in a founder-led business (direct, fast, high expectation)

* Avoid difficult conversations
* Get emotional or defensive under pressure
* Prefer slow, highly structured corporate environments
* Blame others when projects go wrong
Experience & Skills
* 5–10+ years project delivery experience (residential/commercial/modular)
* Strong scheduling and site coordination skills
* Sound understanding of documentation, QA, and safety basics
* Prefab/modular experience is a plus but not essential (mindset is essential)
