About the team
The Corporate Cyber Security Team sits within the Chief Risk and Audit Office and plays a key role in strengthening the organisation’s overall cyber resilience. As part of a multi‑disciplinary team, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the various cyber functions and key internal business areas in a supportive, collaborative environment focused on practical outcomes and continuous improvement.
About The Role
The Cyber Cloud Application Engineer is responsible for developing the City’s Application and Cloud Security practice maturity and capabilities, maintaining and writing related security standards and processes, uplifting the health monitoring and control effectiveness of Cities cyber stack.

We’re Looking For People Who Have
Advance Diploma Network Security or equivalent and relevant experienceProven experience in cloud and/or application security engineeringProvide governance and support to ICT projects containing cloud and application securityEstablish and maintain automated, continuous application security testing services, such as dynamic and static security testing, code reviews, software composition analysisMonitor, assess and maintain the security of cloud infrastructure, networks, and applications.Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
