Occupational Therapist (Gr2) - Adult IPU
Permanent Full-Time position (80 hours per fortnight) at The Alfred, Melbourne.
Overview
Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the Acute multidisciplinary team, supporting the needs of consumers admitted to the High Dependency Unit (HDU) and Low Dependency Unit (LDU).
* Provide group and sensory-based interventions to consumers on the ground floor unit.
* Support consumers and the team with discharge planning needs.
* Assist with coordination of the group program on the ground floor unit and support the introduction of sensory-based interventions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Applied Science (OT) or equivalent from a recognised school of Occupational Therapy
* Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA
