Job Description
How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:
* Undertaking Occupational Rehabilitation assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
* Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
* Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
* Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
* Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
* Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
Qualifications
What you bring to the role?
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy
* Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA
* A genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people’s lives.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
* A customer first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
* Confidence working independently in the community.
* Driver’s licence and vehicle required.
* Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance.
