Our client is seeking a dynamic Retail Manager who will uphold the tradition of quality while driving the future success of The Trident Fish and Grill.
This full-time position offers an annual salary package of AUD 75,000–80,000, based on experience. The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring consistent product quality, maintaining high service standards, and leading an efficient, motivated team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
* Manages the end-to-end daily operations of the venue, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational efficiency in line with The Trident Fish and Grill standards.
* Leads recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training to build a capable, customer-focused team that delivers a consistent brand experience
* Develops and manages staff rosters to balance labour efficiency with service quality across all trading periods
* Monitors daily sales, margins, and cost metrics, preparing reports and implementing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
* Oversees supplier management, purchasing, and inventory control to maintain stock accuracy, quality, and cost-effectiveness
* Implements marketing strategies, local area promotions, and in-store activations to increase customer engagement and repeat visitation
* Maintains strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, WHS, and operational procedures
* Resolves customer feedback and complaints effectively to uphold brand reputation and satisfaction standards
* Collaborates with the management and the internal teams to ensure alignment with group objectives and operational policies
* Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, staff engagement, and customer retention
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Retail Manager or a closely related role.
* Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Willingness to relocate if required.
* Availability to work weekends and split shifts.
