We are seeking an experienced full-time Clinical Nurse to join our Care Team at St Anne's Residential Aged Care Home in Broken Hill. Broken Hill is a frontier mining town in the far west of New South Wales with a rich history and vibrant community.

Role responsibilities
In this permanent full-time role, as a senior nursing clinician you will provide supervision, coordination and support to the care team whilst performing a variety of generalist nursing duties, including medication management, assessment, coordination and case management for residents. You will liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members to ensure excellence in personalised care. You will work with a supportive Clinical Manager to promote a culture of service delivery that enhances residents' lifestyle experiences. You will mentor and guide the team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled nurses, Personal Carers, Lifestyle Officers and Allied Health staff. Compassion and empathy will accompany your clinical talent, built on dignity and respect for residents.
What you will bring
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years\' experience in Aged Care
* Demonstrated competence in modern nursing care including medication management, clinical governance and assessment, and relevant documentation
* Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
* Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines in the Aged Care environment, Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement
* Strong working knowledge of care minutes
* Proven track record in understanding and meeting accreditation requirements
* Ability to be accountable for clinical care provisions
* Proactive and energetic time management
* Approachable and confident communication style
* Desirable: high level skills in wound management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care
