About The Role:
Play a key role in ensuring the pharmaceutical products our customers rely on meet the highest regulatory and quality standards. As a
Quality Assurance Associate
, you\'ll work closely with our Scientific Affairs, Supply Chain and 3PL partners to oversee product quality, manage release for distribution, and support packaging and supply for both domestic and export customers.
You\'ll be part of a collaborative, fast-moving team focused on precision, compliance and continuous improvement. Helping to safeguard product quality and ensure an uninterrupted supply to our customers. This role is open to candidates located in either
Melbourne or Sydney.
Role & Responsibilities:
Review documentation to authorise release for distribution; manage defects/deviations, risk assessments, temperature excursions, and support branded/export customer requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with supply chain and 3PL warehouses, inspect stock, resolve ERP inventory issues, and address inbound/outbound delivery concerns.
Coordinate and track stability testing, organise sample shipments, and maintain records to support product quality reviews.
Request and review APQRs, long-term stability data, packing specs and rework protocols; liaise with Authorised Person, local packers and suppliers to ensure timely supply.
Maintain controlled documents and assist with QMS updates and compliance tasks as required.
Adhere to HSW policies, maintain a safe and clean workplace, report hazards, embody company values and work collaboratively across teams.
Skills & Experience:
3-5 years in pharmaceutical QA or related compliance roles, including interpreting GMP guidance and managing high-volume tasks under tight timelines.
Demonstrated ability to apply GMP principles and QA/QC systems to ensure pharmaceutical product quality and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical skills to investigate deviations, perform risk assessments, and recommend practical, compliant solutions.
Experience supporting audits, reviewing supplier quality data, and liaising with manufacturing, packaging, or testing operations.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with well-developed organisational, time-management, and documentation capabilities.
Tertiary degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related science; postgraduate GMP qualifications desirable.
