About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Installer to join our team at migdesign in Welland, South Australia. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and furniture for our residential and commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
* Installing custom cabinets, vanities, and other furniture pieces
* Operating a variety of woodworking machinery and tools with precision and care
* Selecting and preparing materials, ensuring efficient use of resources
* Communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences
* Collaborating with the design team to bring their visions to life
* Ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
What we're looking for
* Formal training in cabinet making or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or high-end furniture workshop
* Excellent woodworking skills, including proficiency in the use of power tools and traditional hand tools
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret design plans and specifications
* Commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering exceptional customer service
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other tradespeople
* Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
