The Role:
We are seeking a CNC Laser Programmer/Operator to take ownership of laser cutting operations at our advanced manufacturing facility in Mayfield North, NSW. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for programming and operating CNC laser machinery to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards.
You'll work hands-on with industry-leading equipment, contribute to workflow efficiency, and play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive company where your skills and ideas are valued.

Key Responsibilities:
* Program and operate CNC laser cutting machines to manufacture components with accuracy and efficiency.
* Set up, adjust, and optimise machine parameters for maximum productivity and material utilisation.
* Perform routine maintenance and first-level troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
* Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
* Record and report production output, machine performance, and any operational issues.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and meet production targets.
* Assist with loading and unloading materials as part of a hands-on team approach.
* Uphold safe work practices and actively contribute to a safety-first culture.
About You:
* Proven experience as a CNC laser operator or similar manufacturing role.
* Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and programming.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills for equipment issues.
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
* Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
