Job description:
DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to join DT Infrastructure and Alstom in delivering the $1.6B contract for Perth's High Capacity Signalling Project. The project includes the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the new Automatic Train Control System to replace the existing signalling and train control systems in Perth.
Based in the Ashfield project office, the Logistics Officer position will provide essential operational support across warehouse, site installation, and transport activities. This role is critical to ensuring safe, timely, and accurate movement of materials throughout the project lifecycle.This position is covered by the DT Infrastructure WA Electrical Rail Infrastructure Enterprise Agreement 2024 as classifcation REW1 - Trades Labourer.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries with suppliers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders.
Support loading and unloading activities, vehicle spotting, and transport readiness.
Assist in coordinating fleet vehicle movements, vehicle changeovers, and general logistics support.
Prepare and stage materials for dispatch to site work fronts.
Move equipment, assemblies, and consumables safely within the warehouse, yard, and delivery areas.
Work closely with warehouse, fabrication, and site teams to ensure materials are delivered efficiently and in alignment with daily work plans.
Perform data entry for receipts, issues, transfers, and stock movements in the Warehouse Management System.
Ensure material traceability and support the creation of pick lists and delivery manifests.
Maintain accuracy of logistics records to support planning and reporting requirements.
Experience and capabilities
C Class Driver's Licence
Forklift (LF) High Risk Work Licence
Preferred / Highly Desirable
MR or HR Driver's Licence
High Risk Work Licence - Telehandler
