Senior Specialist Lawyer – Legal, Regulatory
YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Lawyer, you'll join IAG's high performing legal team (awarded the 2022 Large Legal Team of the Year). This position will see you providing high quality strategic and commercially focused legal and governance advice to your business partners and external counsel.
This is a contract
role for a twelve month fixed term period based in
Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Wurundjeri Country (181 William Street Melbourne)
About You
Qualified legal practitioner with 7+ years of experience ideally gained at a major Australian or international law firm and/or large corporate. Significant legal practice experience in the following functional areas: regulatory investigations and enforcement action, commercial disputes and litigation, financial services regulatory, general commercial contracts, and knowledge of general insurance products, claims and coverage issues Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, decision making and critical thinking skills.
