About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Collie or Harvey.
As a specialist in fire management, you will be responsible for undertaking pre-burn inspections, providing advice on terrain suitability and conducting audits to maintain equipment.
You will lead and supervise employees and contractors in activities related to conservation, parks and visitor services, and sustainable forest management.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct prescribed burning, incident and fire management activities;
* Coach others in work programs, identify training needs, conduct training, and promote continuous learning;
* Plan and implement work programs efficiently, organize resources, set day-to-day priorities, and ensure quality control;
