Nurse Next Door is a certified Great Places to Work. We are looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses who are able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

We are dedicated to delivering flexible in-home nursing care options to those in the Aged Care and Disability sector, ranging from 24/7 care to one-hour visits for wound care or diabetes management.

About The Role
Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing is at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do. We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate, and personalised.
* Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
* Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
* Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
* Conduct Nursing Assessments.
Skills & Experience
* Community nursing would be an advantage.
* Subacute and disability experience.
* Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations.
* Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours.
* Diabetes management.
* Dementia experience would be an advantage.
* Leadership experience is an advantage.

Mandatory Requirements
* Passionate about making a difference.
* A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for own behaviour & success.
* Coachable.
* AHPRA Registration.
* Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
* CPR & First Aid Certification.
* Car & Valid Drivers License.
* National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector).
* Working With Children Check.
* NDIS Worker Screening Approval.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.
