Workshop Supervisor Boilermaker
Location: Emerald Workshop
Permanent full-time | Long-term career Emerald-based (local or willing to relocate) Great pay + 12% super + 5 weeks annual leave
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supervisor Boilermaker to join our team. As a Leading Hand, you will play a key role in coordinating and mentoring our staff to ensure a safe, productive, and efficient work environment.
Hands-on Role:
As a Supervisor Boilermaker, you will not only provide leadership and guidance but also work alongside our team, carrying out boilermaker tasks. You will be expected to be proficient in all aspects of boilermaking and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate staff to work safely and efficiently as part of a team
* Demonstrate and mentor fellow employees to promote a positive safety culture
* Proactively manage employees, procedures, and processes to ensure safe and efficient operation of the business
* Implement and uphold DGH Engineering HSE&Q standards in the workplace
* Accept responsibility and be accountable for actions
* Communicate clearly and effectively with management and clients
Ideal Candidate:
* Experienced boilermaker with a passion for leadership
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
* Excellent communication and mentoring skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proven track record of promoting a positive safety culture
* Physical ability to perform boilermaker tasks
