Senior Data Engineering Consultant – Permanent Position
Up to $170,000 + Benefits
About the Role
Join a consultancy delivering cutting-edge data engineering solutions across diverse industries. This role offers the opportunity to leverage the Microsoft data stack to design and deliver transformative cloud-based solutions. As a senior consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping outcomes, mentoring junior team members, and acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer / Consultant, with strong Microsoft Azure expertise
* Hands-on skills in:
* Microsoft Fabric (data pipelines, dataflows, integration)
* Programming skills in SQL and Python
* Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and performance tuning
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in client-facing environments
* Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to team growth
* Advantageous: Experience with Snowflake or big query or multi-cloud knowledge.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and transformations within Azure
* Deliver scalable, efficient, and secure data engineering solutions across projects
* Implement DBT transformations to standardize and modularize data models
* Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and compliance
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, aligning solutions with business outcomes
* Support project delivery while contributing to internal knowledge sharing and innovation
