**The opportunity**
We are seeking a talented **Financial Analyst/Project Cost Controller** to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail. The role would be based in Williamtown, NSW.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the month end process with the required journals and reconciliations, including all required reporting.
- Maintaining project forecasts and assist with preparing variance analysis
- Participate in budget and forecast reviews one on one with cost account managers and other relevant stakeholders
- Investigation of cost drivers and areas for improvement
- Use of project management cost tools
- Project Costing and Estimation
- Training and mentoring of other staff within the team
**Experience/Qualifications**
- Qualification in accounting or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to adapt to different situations and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines
- Proactive
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
