About the opportunity
This position plays a central role in the Postgraduate Program of the Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) focused on the development and delivery of teaching the units of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SEXH5417) and Abortion, Contraception and Preconception Care (SEXH5405).
We are seeking a Lecturer to join the Sydney Medical School on a part time basis.

* clinical background in women's health
* knowledge of current best practice in sexual and reproductive health
* knowledge of public health and legal aspects as they relate sex, sexuality and sexual and reproductive health
* awareness and maintenance of professional and ethical issues of practice in a variety of cultural, social, ethnic and workplace situations
* sound understanding of adult learning techniques and the pedagogic approaches relevant to the implementation of constructivist learning in an interdisciplinary, inter-professional collaborative environment
* demonstrated skills in instructional design, research intensive resource development for on-line and face-to-face delivery and selection and development of a range of assessment tasks
* research degree (PhD or MPhil).
