CE Group is expanding our delivery footprint in Central Queensland and we're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery of the Mine redevelopment project. This is a major new-plant installation, including a completely new washplant, tailings processing facility, switchrooms, and associated mine services electrical infrastructure.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll oversee the planning and execution of all electrical works across the washplant, tailings processing system, and associated infrastructure. This role covers cost, schedule, procurement, subcontractor management, QA, safety, and client interface, with strong internal support from CE Group's established delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all electrical works for the new washplant, tailings processing plant, switchrooms, and mine infrastructure
* Oversee installation of HV/LV systems and integration with plant equipment and OEM packages
* Lead project planning, critical path development, forecasting, and schedule performance
* Supervise subcontractors, electrical trades, and site teams
* Ensure compliance with mining electrical standards, isolation procedures, and CE Group's safety systems
* Work closely with engineering, procurement, and vendors to coordinate plant installation sequencing
* Control variations, commercial change management, and progress reporting
* Support CE Group's local workforce strategy and community engagement
About You:
* Experienced Construction Manager or Project Manager with strong electrical infrastructure background
* Exposure to mining, minerals processing, heavy industrial, or large-scale plant installation projects
* Hands-on experience with HV/LV installation, switchrooms, and plant services
* Strong schedule and planning capability, with a practical understanding of installation sequencing
* Confident communicator who builds strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Demonstrated commitment to electrical safety, compliance, and quality
* Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced construction environment
