An immediate start is available for a dedicated Embroidery Machine Operator to join our friendly team with excellent hours and above award pay rates.
FanFave, based in Molendinar on the Gold Coast, has a solid foundation with a national customer base and aims to continue exceeding growth targets. We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and driven Embroidery Operator to join our team.
Qualifications & Experience
Basic computer knowledge.
Experience with full-time embroidery and heat press machine operation, specifically using 1, 4, & 6 head Barudan embroidery machines and 2 heat press machines.
About Us:
FanFave produces quality, contemporary fan-wear and gear for the horse racing industry and its participants. We also supply a range of workwear, PPE, embroidery, and heat/screen-printing services to local, state, national, and international clients.
Located in Molendinar, Gold Coast, with easy access to Smith Street Motorway and M1, offering ample parking. The embroidery room is air-conditioned for employee comfort.
Main Duties and Tasks:
- Prepare machines for operation, including loading digitized designs, thread color changes, and needle replacements.
- Hooping garments and applying backing for embroidery.
- Trim, fold, and re-pack garments post-embroidery or pressing.
- Maintain accurate work order records and updates.
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Perform basic maintenance on embroidery and heat press machines.
- Read and interpret work orders to determine embroidery specifics.
- Conduct regular machine and inventory inspections, reporting issues or reordering stock as needed.
- Assist colleagues with embroidery tasks.
Uniform and PPE will be provided. Picking clothing from the warehouse may be required occasionally.
About You:
- Reliable and genuinely motivated to work.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Previous experience with commercial embroidery, especially with Barudan or Tajima machines.
- Deadline-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Valuable communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Based in Southeast Queensland, e.g., Brisbane or near the NSW border.

Pay Rate:
$69,160.00 per year, depending on experience.
