As a Business Support Officer within the Travel Team, you will support essential services by coordinating complex travel arrangements and delivering outstanding customer service within a large QLD Government Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage travel bookings including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries, and car hire across SEQ.
* Liaising with the business and corporate travel agencies to ensure travel needs of the business are met, whilst ensuring value for money.
* Deliver high standards of customer service to internal stakeholders.
* Manage calls and email correspondence
* Maintain accuracy in documentation, reporting and data entry using systems such as Ellipse and Microsoft Office.
* Provide ad hoc administrative support as required.
You
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver efficient and accurate travel services.
* Experience in travel coordination, administration, or customer service roles.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Experience with Ellipse is an added bonus
* A collaborative team player with a proactive and professional approach.
