Liverpool Hospital is seeking Sterilisation Technicians or Technical Aids to join our dynamic Sterilisation Services Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a modern, well equipped environment while playing a vital role in supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety.

In this role, staff will work within the Sterile Storeroom completing equipment setups for operating theatres. We are seeking candidates who can collaborate closely with a friendly multidisciplinary team, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and bring a proactive, team focused attitude to their work.

Are You the Right Fit?
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
* Good understanding of clinical consumables and/or RMD handling (training available if needed).
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high stakes environment. Excellent communication skills and a team focused attitude.
* Reliability, initiative, and a commitment to supporting outstanding surgical care.
* Able to prioritise workplace demands and in an unpredictable environment. Full rotation roster (7 days/24 hours).

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Have you ever had any experience in a 'Pick and Pack' or Sterile Stockroom type environment?
* Tell me about a time you had to coordinate with theatre nurses, surgeons, and SSD to resolve a last minute change to operating theatre equipment needs. How did you ensure everyone stayed aligned?
* This role requires the use of electronic scanning tracking systems. Have you ever used electronic tracking systems and if so, tell me about a time you used a digital system (e.g., barcode scanning, instrument tracking, inventory software) to prevent an error or trace an issue.
* This role requires staff to work a rotating roster, including weekend and Public Holidays for the provision of a 7 day / 24hour service to the Peri-Operative Services Department. Are you able to work a full rotating roster?
