We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer (AWS) to join a major Queensland government body's Project Delivery team.
* Initial contract to June 30, 2026, with a possible extension to June 2027
* $1050-$1250 per day inclusive of super
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and extending integration solutions within a modern cloud-based architecture to ensure seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.
You will play a key part in advancing a flexible and extensible Integration Engine hosted on AWS, enabling sophisticated data querying and synchronisation across multiple applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Integration Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions using AWS-native services and maintain APIs/event-driven workflows
* AWS Solution Building: Build and deploy serverless and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CDK, and CodePipeline.
* Data Engineering: Develop transformation scripts, implement data cataloging via AWS Glue, and configure AWS Athena workgroups for complex dataset querying.
* Platform Enhancement: Create foundational services, including S3 interfaces for document management and integrations with Document Automation Services (DAS).
* Messaging: Implement asynchronous integrations using RabbitMQ and route requests from platforms like Salesforce via AWS EventBridge.
Required Skills & ExperienceCore
* Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and TypeScript.
* AWS Expertise: Proven experience with Lambda, API Gateway, CodePipeline, CDK, EventBridge, Glue, and Athena.
* Integration & Messaging: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging platforms.
* Architecture: Deep knowledge of serverless, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
* DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployments.
* Highly desirable: Prior experience with Salesforce integration or working within government/regulated environments.
