**Your new role**
Your new role is working a standalone AP/AR role with effective and supportive leadership.
Day to day your duties will include:
- Delivering Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable transactional tasks
- Process Accounts payable and Receivable, minor claims, credit card claims and travel reimbursements and claims
- Registering new supplier & managing late payment of invoices.
- Assist with the weekly payment run.
- Maintenance of a shared finance inbox and ensuring that queries addressed on timely manner.
- End of month processing, reconciliations, and managing invoice accruals.
- Bank account statement transaction processing and reconciliations (monthly) to the General Ledger.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the CFO.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll be motivated, a problem solver and deliver outcomes in a timely manner. Ideally you would have used large financial programs such as TechOne or be able to adapt to technology quickly. This role is open to people from a varied background and not necessary to have prior government experience. This role is open to all Australian citizens as a baseline clearance may be required.
