Blue Ribbon Stockfeeds is a manufacturer of stockfeed and other agricultural supplements, they provide services for livestock food producers in Central Queensland. We buy grain direct from growers and provide animal feeds to producers across all species. We are looking for a friendly positive individual to work in a customer service/administration role in our retail store.
Your core duties will include:
* Customer service via phone, email, retail or reception
* Performing general administrative tasks including ordering, receiving and inventory control.
* Serve customers and load with goods.
* Provide advice to customers.
* Respond promptly to pricing and product queries.
* Maintain shelf stock levels and tidiness.
* General housekeeping
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following attributes, skills and qualifications:
* A passion for agriculture.
* Current forklift license or willingness to obtain.
* Physically fit for lifting.
* Attention to detail.
* Helpful & friendly disposition with a willingness to learn.
* Ability to work unsupervised as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
* Competent PC skills (POS & inventory control systems an advantage but not essential).
* Good communication skills.
* Knowledge of feed products and farming practices an advantage.
