About the opportunity
As an Approvals Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate lodgement of development and building approvals. Working closely with Councils, private certifiers, and key external organisations, you'll be central to progressing each project efficiently and compliantly. More specifically, you will:

• Assist the Project Delivery team with the preparation and lodgement of development applications with third party authorities and statutory bodies within required timeframes.

• Prepare DA, CC, or Complying Development applications and coordinate submissions to all relevant authorities prior to final lodgement.

• Manage lodgements with external bodies such as Mines, Water and Sewer authorities, Developers, and Roads & Traffic authorities.

• Work closely with Project Coordinators and our Drafting team to track and document required approval changes for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Follow up on lodged applications with Councils and authorities to obtain estimated approval dates and support construction scheduling.

• Produce reports for management and provide weekly progress updates on all Development Applications.

• Perform a variety of general administrative duties in a timely manner

About you
You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia's number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:

• Strong administrative and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders with ease.

• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring documentation, lodgements, and correspondence are accurate and complete.

• Confident communication skills allowing you to work effectively with councils, certifiers, internal teams, and external partners.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans whilst identifying planning compliances and non-compliances – highly regarded (not essential)

• Knowledge of planning laws and legislations – highly regarded (not essential)

• Previous experience liaising with local councils and private certifiers - highly regarded (not essential)
