About Us
Slade is an innovative and diverse provider of both pharmacy and compounding services. For over 50 years it has been providing specialised pharmacy services which include the preparation of sterile compounded preparations for use by patients in hospitals.
Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and New Zealand. At Slade Health, we produce aseptically compounded pharmaceutical products such as chemotherapy drugs, total parenteral nutrition and analgesics.
About the role
We are currently looking for a Logistics Supervisor to work at our Geebung site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the full-time hours are Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. There will be an expectation for flexibility to different shifts including night shift, public holidays and weekend support when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispatch of goods
* Courier management
* Vehicle maintenance scheduling
* Resolution of delivery issues
* Management and development of the team; including staff training, communicating goals and generating timetables for the Logistic Technicians
* Increase efficiencies through implementation of best work practices
* Administration duties
* Attend to non-conformance, deviations, complaints and recalls
* Other tasks as directed
* Ensuring GMP compliance
* Working with multiple teams across the business
* Stock ordering
What we are looking for
* Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry
* Knowledge of TGA and GMP
* Experience leading a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong problem solving and decision making skills
* High attention to detail
* Candidates will also be required to undertake and pass pre-employment medical which includes a supervised drug test.
