About the Opportunity
DFP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support our client’s strategic goals. In this key position, you’ll play a central role in shaping the architecture, development, and integration of ServiceNow across core business modules including ITSM, CSM, FSM, and EAM. You will also take ownership of third-party system integrations and implement identity and access management (IAM) as well as role-based access control (RBAC) policies.This is a pivotal role within a collaborative and forward-thinking team where your technical expertise will directly influence enterprise-wide service delivery. You’ll work closely with project managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable, efficient, and secure ServiceNow solutions that align with business priorities.
About You
You are an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of platform capabilities and a passion for innovation. You bring a combination of technical proficiency, stakeholder engagement skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure and develop ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CSM, FSM, and EAM.
* Build advanced workflows, business rules, and custom applications.
* Design and deliver secure IAM and RBAC frameworks within ServiceNow.
* Integrate third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Service Graph Connectors, and custom integrations.
* Manage platform upgrades, enhancements, and performance monitoring.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
* Mentor junior developers and promote ServiceNow development best practices.
Key Skills & Experience:
* 5+ years’ hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration across multiple modules.
* Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and Business Rules.
* Proficient in API-based integrations with tools such as Jira, Azure, SailPoint, GCP, or SCCM.
* Deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, and compliance standards such as the Australian Privacy Act.
* Demonstrated experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and Implementation Specialist certifications (CSM, FSM, or EAM) are highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
