Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering best-in-class culinary experiences. As a Sous Chef, you will lead the Kitchen Team and supervise all venue culinary activities. This role requires two essential skill sets - culinary management and great leadership.

Job Description: The Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in providing our guests with exceptional meals by leading the team and supervising all culinary operations. This includes scheduling labour, managing inventory, ordering product, ensuring safety and sanitation, maintaining kitchen areas, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:
* Supervise the team to provide best-in-class culinary experiences
* Coach and develop the team to drive engagement and excellence
* Delegate tasks effectively
* Demonstrate top-notch leadership skills to guide the team to success
* Maintain high-quality food and labour costs according to standards
* Select and develop recipes to corporate approval
* Standardize production recipes and presentation to ensure consistent quality
* Plan and cost menus for special events and chef choice menus
* Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
* Coordinate food safety and HACCP to maintain high standards

Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar position is essential
* Proven ability to lead and develop a culinary team
* Culinary qualifications are required
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
* Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene and food safety programs
* Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
