Eramosa Family Medical Centre is looking for an enthusiastic friendly medical receptionist to join our supportive team who are dedicated to providing excellent patient care. We are offering a casual position approximately 2 to 3 days per week, with additional shifts when other staff are on leave. There will be some evening work and you will be rostered for each 3rd or 4th Saturday.
The successful applicant must have excellent customer service skills, a high level of computer skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities will include:
* Meet and greet patients
* Answer all incoming phone calls
* Scheduling Appointments, including recalls and reminders.
* Processing patient details and preparing accounts/payments
* Processing and batching Medicare & DVA claims
* Assisting doctors with administrative tasks
* Ensuring patient flow is smooth and managing the waiting room
* General clerical duties including scanning, faxing and emailing
* Opening and closing the clinic
* General housekeeping duties

* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Attention to detail
* Excellent computer skills
* An understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule
* Be reliable and honest with a strong work ethic
* Familiarity with medical software
* Prior medical receptionist experience preferred but not essential. Training provided.
