Business Development Lead
You will work closely with the CEO to develop and execute key strategic initiatives.
Drive sales, partnerships, coordinate communications and projects to achieve high-priority goals.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Sets and executes long-term business development strategy and revenue milestones.
* Represents the company with customers, investors, and key partners in high-stakes meetings.
* Leads market expansion efforts, identifies new opportunities, and forges partnerships within the recycling and tech sectors.
* Maintains a strong public presence as a confident speaker and networker at industry events, cultivating relationships with influential stakeholders.
* Collaborates with engineering to translate customer needs into actionable product or service improvements.
* Oversees all HR functions, ensuring alignment of hiring, onboarding, and policy with business goals.
Qualifications:
* Confident, strong leader, fast learner, hungry, collaborative, clear communicator, humble, passionate, disciplined, and organized operator who delivers under pressure.
Prerequisites:
* Deep experience with public speaking/pitching (bonus points if you've led sales).
* Prior experience leading teams (optional).
* Comfort with managing high volumes of emails/communications and PR.
* Enjoys networking and has demonstrated leveraging connections.
* Experience managing budgets and cashflow.
* Demonstrated ability to excel in high-stress environments.
