Job Overview
The Chemical Coordination Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, meeting deadlines, and adhering to contract terms for the supply of production chemicals and provision of production chemistry services.
This key member of our team will be responsible for coordinating job activities across organizational boundaries to meet customer expectations and contract terms and conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout job preparation, execution, and close-out reporting.
* Perform all activities in accordance with company policies, applicable processes, and cultural standards.
* Evaluate and capitalize on assigned contracts/quotes.
* Coordinate and monitor job cycle activities across organizational boundaries, including engagement with third-party supply chain partners.
* Oversee and coordinate activities of service or technical personnel via personnel assignments, job or project management, administration, and technical support.
* Manage multiple or single products/services.
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Science.
* A minimum of 5 years of prior experience working in upstream oil and gas operations.
* Demonstrable relevant experience in supervision and coordination.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
