An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated nursing leader to undertake the role of Surgical Stream Nurse Manager at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. This role provides the opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of nursing services across the Surgical Stream, driving service improvement, workforce planning, and clinical excellence in a complex and dynamic environment. The position plays a key role in supporting high‐quality patient care while fostering a culture aligned with the CORE values of NSW Health. Working in partnership with the office of the Director of Nursing and Clinical Stream Director, the Nurse Manager will contribute to the strategic and operational direction of surgical services, while providing leadership, oversight, and support to nursing teams across the portfolio. The role is responsible for ensuring effective staffing models, monitoring performance and key indicators, and supporting ongoing service development and improvement. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, the ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to delivering safe, effective, and patient‐centred care.
