Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team in a key role. This position involves managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality customer service and developing additional business from the existing portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent working relationships with insurers, and prior experience managing a small team.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure high-quality customer service.
* Develop additional business from the existing portfolio.
* Mentor and coordinate staff through clear communication and performance management.
* Apply a thorough understanding of client needs to ensure that services meet expectations.
* Lead and implement renewal strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent), and
* 5+ years' experience in managing a portfolio of SME clients, transport experience highly regarded.
* Technical skills on key General Insurance classes including Industrial Special Risks, General Liability, Motor Fleet, Marine, and Accident & Health lines.
* Prior experience managing a small team.
* Excellent working relationships with insurers and underwriting partners.
