About the Project:
The Port Kembla Energy Terminal will strengthen Australia's energy security as the nation's first LNG import terminal. You'll join an experienced, globally supported operations team committed to safe, efficient performance.
About the Role:
As the Human Resources Advisor, you'll provide day-to-day HR support across the terminal, with a strong focus on award interpretation, legislative compliance, recruitment and general employee relations advice. You'll work closely with Terminal Management and operational teams to ensure HR processes are clear, consistent and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate award interpretation and HR legislative guidance.
Ensure HR practices comply with industrial instruments, policies and statutory requirements.
Manage recruitment and onboarding activities.
Maintain HR records, employee files and compliance registers.
Provide HR advice and support to employees and supervisors.
Assist with training coordination and inductions.
Contribute to HR reporting, collection of workforce data and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support employee engagement activities and help promote a positive workplace culture.
Support constructive engagement with unions, ensuring clear communication and effective handling of industrial matters, with guidance from Head Office and Senior Management.
Skills and Experience:
3-5 years' HR Advisor experience
Strong understanding of Awards, Fair Work legislation and HR compliance.
Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and general Employee / Industrial Relations processes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Relevant Human Resources qualification.
