TORMAX Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and technically minded individual to join our team in Melbourne as a Storeperson/Assembler. If you have experience in production/assembly environments and are looking to join a great team, then we would love to hear from you.
TORMAX automatic door systems are found in office buildings, shopping malls, hotels and restaurants, department stores, airports and train stations, on ships and in apartment buildings – in short, in hundreds of thousands of buildings around the world.
We are looking for a person with a hands on approach and can do attitude, who is willing to learn new skills. Training will be provided for this role with opportunities to progress to a service technician.
The job involves working primarily in our workshop with some work in the field assisting our service division and installation team on client sites.
Requirements:
* Drive a manual vehicle.
* Ability to work overtime if required.
* Good mechanical skills
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Well presented with excellent people skills.
* Ability to complete paperwork and record data as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble automatic door control system components, according to specifications and quality standards.
* Conduct testing and inspection of assembled products to ensure functionality and adherence to quality guidelines.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
* Dispatch and receive stock.
* General housekeeping of the warehouse.
