The Motorsport Department at Supercars is the cornerstone of the safe, fair and competitive Championship that enables the entire Supercars organisation to continue as the leading touring car category. YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:
Deliver key operational components of major events, including infrastructure setup, signage, and logistics, while leading the design and build of merchandise precincts and managing support category and entertainment requirements.
The role ensures compliance, timely delivery, and a premium fan experience through effective coordination of vendors, partners, and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Event Operations:
* Deliver and oversee allocated operational elements of major events, including infrastructure setup and supplier coordination, ensuring compliance, timely delivery, and an exceptional event experience.
* Work with the Event Manager to manage overall event planning, execution and debriefing for allocated events
* Contribute to the preparation of build/installations schedules for allocated events.
* Liaise with councils, venues, engineers, and governing bodies for approvals and compliance.
* Oversee bump-in/bump-out schedules and plan and manage logistics for signage, IT setup, parking, and entertainment and other operational elements.
* Maintain accurate bills of quantities, place supplier orders, and track budgets. Comply with and follow company financial processes.
* Implement WH&S procedures.
* End to end management of Event Signage at allocated events as required.
* Other duties as required.
Merchandise Precincts:
* Lead the end-to-end design, build, and operational delivery of merchandise precincts for allocated events, integrating retail and food & beverage experiences ensuring a premium fan experience and strong commercial outcomes.
* Develop creative layouts for merchandise zones, integrating retail, partner and experiential activations, traffic flow and aesthetic considerations.
* Work closely with the event caterer to align F&B concepts with precinct design, ensuring efficient service flow and shared infrastructure.
* Coordinate contractors for temporary structures, signage, utilities, and fit-outs, ensuring compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
* Work closely with Partnerships Team to ensure Partner commercial deliverables are met.
* Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and brand guidelines.
* Act as the primary liaison for vendor onboarding, precinct guidelines, accreditation, invoicing and all other administration.
* Oversee site build and precinct setup, ensuring timely delivery of structures and services.
* Manage traffic flow, signage, and wayfinding for optimal guest movement.
* Troubleshoot operational issues during event build and live days.
Support Categories:
* Manage all aspects of support category participation at allocated events, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and alignment with event objectives and commercial agreements.
* Refer to Support Category contracts to ensure deliverables are met for each category.
* Coordinate with Category Managers to gather entry numbers, equipment lists, and operational needs to design the Support Category Paddock and consult with stakeholders to ensure operational plans are suitable for all parties
* Provide Category Managers with WHS, Supplier details and communicate build information and restrictions as well as structure compliance and sign off requirements
* Oversee Support Category logistics including scheduling park up, unload, and pack down schedules to ensure teams arrive and depart in a staggered manner
* Create category movement maps for on and off track and trolley movements
* Provide the Race Secretary with timely updates for Support Category Regulations
* Confirm final entry numbers with support category managers and share lists with Marketing for programs and Accreditation for event only access
* Oversee marking out of Support Category paddock areas and manage build schedules with 3rd party suppliers
* Supervise arrival, unloading, and park-up of transporters and equipment
* Oversee post-event invoicing as required
Entertainment:
* In conjunction with the Event Manager, procure entertainment for events including the generation of contracts and payment, ensure risk and safety obligations are met, coordinate accreditation, facilitate logistics and execution on site including schedules, resource allocation and movement schedules.
KEY REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS):
* Minimum 3 years proven experience in event operations, preferably in large-scale or sporting events.
* Strong project management and logistics coordination skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders with conflicting objectives simultaneously.
* Knowledge of WH&S compliance and risk management.
* Financial acumen for budget tracking and invoice processing.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Skilled in Microsoft suite of products and map/planning tools.
* White card and forklift license is preferred but not essential.
