About the role
As a Laboratory Technician you will assist with the processing of samples from the first screening of future participants through to the inpatient stays and following outpatient visits.
Key responsibilities
* Specimen reception and registration
* Sample preparation and processing
* Sample testing
* Sample shipping
* Data collection
Requirements
* Tertiary qualified in a health or science-related degree
* Experience working in a laboratory (desired)
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team
* Good understanding of clinical research
* Adaptable, shows initiative and has a strong attention to detail
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude
* Flexible hours, Monday to Friday and one weekend shift
* 4 shifts per week depending on your availability
