* Base salary of $103,185 - $111,237 + 17% Superannuation

About the Opportunity

This position has been designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only under the provisions of section 126 of the Anti‐Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). If you identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, please submit a copy of your Confirmation of Aboriginality with your application. This role supports the delivery of the One Sydney, Many People 2025-2032 strategy within the Indigenous Strategy and Services portfolio. As Project Officer, you will contribute to the coordination and implementation of key initiatives, working closely with project teams and stakeholders across the University. Your work will help drive meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, students, and communities.

Key responsibilities

* work closely with the Project Manager, project teams, and internal stakeholders to support delivery of DVC‐ISS initiatives
* provide project coordination and administrative support including scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking
* assist in maintaining project plans, timelines, registers, and governance documentation
* coordinate meetings, workshops, and project activities including logistics, agendas, minutes, and follow‐up
* support communication activities by preparing updates, materials, and stakeholder engagement content
* contribute to project reporting, evaluation activities, and data collection against KPIs and deliverables

About you

* experience supporting or coordinating multiple workstreams within large or complex projects
* experience managing diverse internal and external stakeholders
* numeracy skills and experience with budget tracking, reconciliations, and invoice or procurement processes
* strong administration and organisational capability with the ability to manage competing priorities
* experience working in the higher education sector or a similarly complex organisation
* a relevant bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
