Job Title:
Support Worker
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with young people to support them in all aspects of life, both in the home and wider community.
Strategies for Success:
* Implement care plans and participate in review of care plans to ensure clear, relevant, and achievable goals.
* Support planned contact and connectedness to family as approved by child safety services.
* Support social, recreational, educational, and health activities for young people in line with their individual care plan.
Requirements:
Mandatory Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention/Community Services or working toward this qualification (proof of enrolment required).
* Alternative qualifications / Working towards: Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services, or Youth Work; Diploma in Behavioural Science, Counselling, Nursing, or Mental Health.
Other Requirements:
* Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption).
* Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice).
