Senior Civil Engineer – Multisector InfrastructureResponsibilities
* Prepare and review detailed civil design, drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD, 12d, Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools.
* Design civil infrastructure across roads, transport corridors, bulk earthworks, hardstand areas, industrial and defence facilities, public domain works, and building interfaces.
* Design stormwater, drainage and civil water infrastructure, including piped networks, open channels, detention systems, WSUD, and flood mitigation solutions.
* Support energy, utilities and building projects with site development, access, pavements, services coordination, and constructability inputs.
* Ensure all designs comply with project briefs, relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability requirements.
* Coordinate with clients, internal disciplines, external consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders for seamless multidisciplinary project integration and delivery.
* Prepare feasibility studies, multi‐criteria option assessments, technical reporting, proposals and tender documentation.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary disciplines such as utilities, pavement and structural design.
* Conduct site visits and inspections and provide direction to contractor partners as required.
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design experience.
* Experience across transport, land development, water, energy, defence, industrial or building‐related civil works.
* Demonstrated ability to apply core civil engineering principles across different project types and sectors.
* Proven skills in design and documentation of civil infrastructure to ANZ standards or similar.
* Proficiency in industry design software, including 12d, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
* Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and practices.
* Ability to coordinate and manage a multi‐disciplinary project team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and self‐motivation.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a multi‐location team setting.
