Food Technologist - Product & Process (Beverages)

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experiencedFood Technologistto join my client, a highly regarded global innovator in thefood and beverage ingredients industry.
This position plays a key role in drivingnew product developmentacross bothalcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, from concept through to commercialisation.
You'll lead and support end-to-end product development projects — collaborating with customers, co-packers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, innovative beverage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to commercialisation in line with customer briefs
Lead assigned projects and handle all customer communications throughout the development process
Take charge of scaling up beverage products (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at key co-packer sites
Act as the main technical contact for co-packers, ensuring product quality and process efficiency
Conduct product formulation, ingredient testing, and stability studies for new and existing products
Organise and participate in product tastings with internal teams and customers
Maintain accurate project documentation and update progress through the internal IT system
Coordinate weekly project meetings with internal stakeholders to track timelines and deliverables
Ensure laboratory equipment and raw materials are maintained, calibrated, and stocked appropriately
Prepare and deliver customer workshops and technical presentations when required
Support sourcing of new ingredients in collaboration with the purchasing and account management teams
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and ongoing training within the technical department
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree inFood Technology,Food Science, or a related field
Minimum3 years of experiencein food or beverage manufacturing —experience with alcoholic beverages is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of product formulation, process scale-up, and quality systems
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
